Charlotte Deschamp

Charlotte J. DeSchamp, 86, of Oaktown, passed away at 10:00 pm Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.She was born December 10, 1934 in Petersburg, Indiana to Hugh B. and Capitola (Colvin) WilsonCharlotte retired from Indiana Bell after 34 years where she had worked as an operator and on the Frame. Charlotte attended the Mariah Creek Christian Church and loved her family.Surviving are her husband Bruce DeSchamp whom she married March 17, 1972; a daughter Vicki McFetridge and her husband Robert of Oaktown; a son Richard DeSchamp and his wife Shelli of Oaktown; a sister Barbara Simnick of New Palestine, IN; along with her four grandchildren Ryan Worstell, Jaron DeSchamp, Raydon DeSchamp, and Brackon DeSchamp.She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and sisters.Graveside services will be held at the Mariah Creek Cemetery on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:30 am with Pastor Matt Hoffman officiating.
