Chester Weber

Chester L. Weber, Jr. 79, passed away at 10:10 am on December 22, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Chet was born on September 23, 1939 in Vincennes the son of Chester L. Sr. and Agnes C. (Floerke) Weber. He married Rochella (Shelley) Stokeley on June 6, 1968 and she survives.Chet had been a union painter for area painting contractors and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and also the American Legion and the VFW. Chet was a big Dale Earnhardt fan and John Wayne and also enjoyed NASCAR and fishing.Survivors include his wife, Shelley Weber of Vincennes; sister-in-law, Deb Weber of Bruceville, sister-in-law, Kay Hedrick of Morris, IL; a brother-in-law, Ronald Long of Bakersfield, CA; four nephews, two nieces, six great nephews and one great niece. Chet was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Chester D. Stokeley Weber; sister and her husband Barbara Ann and Carl Bottoms; brother, Fred J. Weber and a brother-in-law, Harry Lee Hedrick of Morris, IL.Graveside services for Chet will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery where the All Weather Firing Squad will accord military honors.
