Christine Barry

Christine Jeanette Barry, 45, of 310 Hickory, Oaktown, passed away Thursday February 28, 2013 at her residence.She was born to Ted and Mary Lynne (Kensler)Barry on June 14, 1967 in Vincennes.Christine had worked for Rax of Indiana, WalMart, and Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church, a 1985 graduate of Lincoln High School and loved rescuing cats and dogs.Survivors include her husband, Michael Gormley, whom she married January 14, 1995 in Dublin Ireland; her father, Ted Barry and his companion Mary Jo Peters of Vincennes; her mother, Mary Lynne Barry and her companion Ed Kirk of Vincennes; a great uncle, James Kensler, a great aunt, Anna Croney, and several aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
