Christopher Andrew Nicholson

Christopher Andrew Nicholson, 62, passed away at his residence on November 18, 2023. Chris was born on June 13, 1961, in Vincennes and is the son of Charles Nicholson and Faith Arterburn. He married Cynthia Hayes on July 23, 1982.

Chris was a Correctional Lieutenant at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility for several years. He enjoyed playing spades on his computer and was an avid IU and Cincinnati Reds fan. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife Cindy.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Nicholson of Vincennes; son, Brad Nicholson of Seattle, WA; his mom Faith Nicholson of Evansville, IN; his dad Charlie Nicholson of Monroe City; siblings, Rick Nicholson and his wife Rhonda, Jana Nicholson, Lisa Erdosy, Jon Nicholson and his wife Cindi; mother-in-law, Marilyn Hayes of Vincennes and his brother-in-law, Stacy Hayes and his wife Julie.

Friends may visit with Chris' family from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. There will be no funeral service and Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be trusted with the care of Chris and his family.
