Christopher Dean Snyder

Christopher Dean Snyder, a loving father, son, and friend, passed away on March 14, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. Born on January 3, 1963, in Chicago Heights, IL, Christopher led a life filled with joy and a sincere dedication to his family and work. He had a strong passion for working with vehicles, often found fixing four-wheelers and any engine-related challenges that came his way. He also enjoyed spending time with his furry companion, Peanut.

Though Christopher's days were spent working as a dedicated truck driver, his true happiness came from spending time with his family, particularly his beloved grandchildren.

A man of simplicity and hard work, Christopher exuded a love for life through his vibrant spirit and love for adventure. He was known for his love of gambling and having a good time, always seeking to bring joy and laughter to those around him.

Survivors include his significant other, Jodi Godfrey, his children, Josh (Ashlea) Snyder, Jennifer (Justin) Summers, Adam (Cathy) Snyder; his grandchildren, Dillon Summers, Lucas Summers, Brooklyn Snyder, Harper Snyder, Darrin Tannenbaum; his step-son, Cameron Blaize; his brother, Perry (Roz) Snyder; and his nephews, Chris Lavely, and Travis Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy W. Snyder, and Elizabeth A. Snyder.

A graveside service for Chris will be held this Monday, March 18, 2024, at 10:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Christopher and his family.
