Cleo Patrick

Cleo L. Patrick, 97, passed away at 3:35 am on February 24, 2016 at Gentle Care Nursing Home. Cleo was born on October 27, 1918 in Lawrence County, Illinois the daughter of William Fuller "Pete" and Mary Catherine (Hurn) Painter. She married William "Bill" Patrick on May 22, 1937 and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1977.Cleo retired as a seamstress in the laundry department at Good Samaritan Hospital. She enjoyed sewing and her grandchildren.Survivors include her daughter, Rita Fox of St. Francisville, IL; daughter-in-law, Millie Patrick of Vincennes, sister, Zola Junkin of Vincennes; grandchildren, Dawn Helmus and her husband Mark, Greg Fox and his wife Pam, Kirk Fox, Angie Gibbs and her husband Steve, Nick Patrick and his wife Vickie, Brian Thorndike; great grandchildren, Kyleigh and Kyndall Fox, Troy and Shelbey Brittingham, Nicholas Patrick, Nicole Martin and her husband Roger, Mistie Mueller, Justin Zagar; five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Larry and Ed Patrick; granddaughters, Cynthia and Amy Patrick; three brothers; and one sister.Graveside services for Cleo will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bill Pieper officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
