Craig Johnson

Craig A. Johnson, 44, of Vincennes passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Vincent's Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born October 26, 1974 in Vincennes to Tony and Rita (Kroeger) Johnson. Craig was a Hydration Technician at Vincennes University and loved to coordinate events for the Special Olympics when he worked for KCARC. Craig was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church as he enjoyed fishing, hunting, being in his man shed with his friends, and having his annual Halloween party. Craig coached in the Vincennes Football Association and at Vincennes Cub League. Craig was an avid Notre Dame and San Francisco 49ers fan.Those surviving who will cherish Craig's memories are his wife, Stacey (Saucerman) Johnson, whom he married June 12, 1999; his children, Reece Johnson and Layne Johnson; his parents, Tony and Rita Johnson; his mother-in-law Sylvia Saucerman of Vincennes; his father-in- law; Stephen Saucerman; his sister in laws, Sherri Madison and Elizabeth Shatto and her husband Matt; his niece and nephew, Shelbi and Bubba Madison; and his aunts uncles, Dexter and Ruth Kroeger, and Bill and Jamie Kroeger.Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 3 until 8 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Ron Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
