Dana Hensley

Dana Hensley passed away in Evansville, Indiana at the age of 69 at the deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born on April 22, 1953, in Mount Carmel Ilinois. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 48 years Linda Wilson Hensley, one son Jamie Hensley wife Maggie, five grandchildren Aaron Hensley, wife Marisa, Tyler Hensley, Kaylie Kissel husband Jesse, Haylie Hensley boyfriend Logan Willman, Lucas Hensley, two great-grandchildren, Amelia Hensley, Ellowyn Hensley, mother Phyllis Joan Armstrong Hensley, six siblings, Steve Hensley, wife Marsha, Paula Hensley, Linda Reed, husband Vern, Kathy Dauz, partner Joe Dauz, Pam Doner husband Dennis, Larry Hensley, along with numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Hensley, one brother David Hensley. Dana Hensley graduated from Princeton High School and went on to work to support his family. He attended the Bethlehem General Baptist Church near Owensville, Indiana. He loved his family very much. Spending time with the grand kids was very important to him. Riding motorcycles and gardening was his passion. He loved the outdoors. Farmall tractors was his favorite and collected many small-scale tractors. He will be missed by all! A celebration of life for Dana Hensley will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Holder Funeral Home 319 South Main Street Owensville, Indiana. Officiating will be Steve Wilson. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Cynthiana Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
