Daniel Boggs

Danny C. Boggs, 58 passed away at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Danny was born on August 29, 1955 in Vevay, IN the son of Frances and Pearl (Stephens) Boggs. He married Paula K. Reed on September 30, 1983 and she survives.Danny was head of irrigation maintenance at Vincennes University. He loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He enjoyed horseshoes and being in the woods. He loved his family and grandchildren, and was extremely proud of his three children.Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Paula Boggs of Oaktown; son, Chris Boggs and his wife Mary of Vincennes; twin daughters, Jamie Hendzel and her husband, Dan of Clarksville, TN and Amanda Boggs and her fiance, Michael Jacobs of Oaktown; sister, Connie Devers of Columbus, IN; brother, Roy Boggs of Columbus, IN; sister, Joann Shappard and her husband, Denny of Vincennes; brother, Larry Boggs of Columbus, IN; brother, David Boggs and his wife Patty of Shelbyville, IN; brother, Shelley Boggs and his wife, Diane of Lafayette, TN; grandchildren, Jessie Boggs, Lillie Boggs and Taylor Hendzel. Danny was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Robert E. Green Activities Center at Vincennes University with the Rev. Scott Shipment officiating. Friends may visit with Danny's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of Noon on Tuesday at Green Auditorium.
