Darla Gail Webber, 67, an avid Vincennes Lincoln Alice fan passed away on September 2, 2023. Darla was born on July 28, 1956 and she is the daughter of John Junior and Joy Jacquelyn (Davison) Webber.

Darla graduated from Vincennes Lincoln High School and went on to pursue her Masters Degree in Education from Indiana State University. After graduation she began her teaching career with the Vincennes Community School Corporation where she retired after forty years of service. She loved teaching and she loved her students. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints where she participated in the choir. Darla was an avid Vincennes Lincoln Alice fan and you could always find her in attendance supporting all athletic teams. You could especially find her sitting behind home plate at Hill Field encouraging all the players as she would fist bump them all before the beginning of each game. She was also an animal lover of all types ranging from cats to turtles. Darla always enjoyed the Vincennes Homecoming festivities and very much loved the history of Vincennes as well as genealogy.

Survivors include her brother, John Webber, and his wife Lori of Indianapolis; nephew Jeremy and Brandy Webber of Indianapolis; and her special aunt that she was always with Mary Davison of Vincennes. Also surviving are other aunts, uncles, and several cousins. Darla is preceded in death by her parents John Junior and Joy Jacquelyn Webber.
