Darlene E. Hartley

Darlene E. Hartley, 68, of Washington, IN passed away December 31, 2023. She was born on February 18, 1955, to the late Clarence "Gene" and Dorothy (Houtsch) White. Darlene attended Washington High School and graduated in 1973. She continued her education at Vincennes University where she graduated in 1987 with her Paralegal degree. Darlene worked for 30+ years at Four Rivers in Washington.
In her free time, Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, reading, helping others in need, cooking, sewing, and crocheting. She will be deeply missed.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Marilyn Jones Kelley and Richard White.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Bobby Hartley; children Melissa (Wes) Traylor, Kaleb (Emilee) Hartley, Kate (Michael) Hartley; grandchildren Ciera Traylor, Anna Traylor, Sophie Ross, Emerson Hartley; siblings Alan (Teresa) Houtsch, Gloria (Pat) Roberts, Bill (Susie) White, Jeff (Amy) White; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Hartley. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 2020 State St. Washington from 5-7pm.
