Darrell Holland

Darrell Eugene Holland, 62, passed away at his residence on May 3, 2018. Darrell was born on July 7, 1955 in Washington the son of John D. Sr. and Betty (Hill) Holland.Darrell served his country for seven years as an MP in the United States Army, worked at Wal-Mart and was a member of the Wesleyan Church. He loved to fish and enjoyed old cars and his Trans Am. Darrell also enjoyed going to casinos, being outdoors and mushroom hunting.Survivors include his mother, Betty Roman of Washington; son, Daniel Holland of Dixon, CA; grandson, Liam Holland of Dixon, CA; companion, Connie Alsman of Washington; brother, John D. Holland and his wife Judy of Jasper, brother, Randy Holland and his wife Mary-Lou of Washington, sister, Christina Hembre of Washington, brother, Gary Holland of Washington, and sister, Angie Mattingly and her husband Joe of Washington. Darrell was preceded in death by his father, John D. Holland, Sr., his step-father, Russell Roman, and his wife, Sally (Byer) Holland.Friends may visit with Darrell's family on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 4- 8 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN. Funeral services for Darrell will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Wedge officiating. Interment will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
