David Cessna

David Louis Cessna, 54 passed away at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis on September 20, 2014. David was born on August 29, 1960 in Hammond, IN the son of Louis Ray and Sarah (Wells) Cessna. He married Darla Staley on October 15, 2004 and she survives.David was a forklift operator for Excell and had been a minister's assistant in Carol Stream, IL. He enjoyed playing the guitar, three-wheeling, fishing, and partying with his friends.Survivors include his wife, Darla Cessna of Vincennes; mother, Sarah Mason of Vincennes; daughter, Chelsae Cessna of Springfield, IL; step-children, Dottie Fredrick of Vincennes, Gwendolyn Massey of Seymour, Jerri Stevenson of Wheatland; sister, Nina Finley of Lawrenceville, IL; brother's, Jerry Cessna of Vincennes, Paul Cessna of Vincennes and ten grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his father and one brother.David will be cremated at his request at Goodwin Crematory, 505 Main St., Vincennes and services will be held at a later date.
