David Stevens

David L. Stevens passed away at 11:35 a.m. on September 19, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. David was born on March 30, 1947 in Peoria, IL the son of Russell and Irene Stevens. He married Lila M. Buss on January 10, 2006. David worked for Automatic Transmission Service for fifteen years and then he worked for Trent Auto Sales for fourteen years until he retired on December 27, 2011. Survivors include his wife Lila Embrey Buss Stevens, of Vincennes; mother, Irene Stevens of Peoria, Il; sister, Gloria Rogers of Peoria, IL; brother, Orville Stevens of Peoria, IL; brother, Russell Stevens of Peoria, IL; sister, Joyce Lowers, of Florida; brother, Michael Schlids of Peoria, Il; sister, Clara Rogers of Peoria, IL; brother, Marty Stevens of Peoria, IL; brother, Charles Stevens of East Peoria, IL; sister, Romau Stull of East Peoria, IL; brother, Carl Stevens of Peoria, IL; stepson, Brian K. Embrey of Vincennes; and stepson Kevin S. Wasson of Oklahoma. David was preceded in death by his father, Russell Stevens, sister, Virginia Stevens, brothers, Joey and Glen Stevens. Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Pastor Pete White officiating.
