David A. "Dave" Workman, 77, of Vincennes, IN, passed away April 29, 2020, at his home. Dave was retired from AT&T. He had worked in several areas for AT&T, and retired as an installer / repairman. A member of Community United Methodist Church, he also belonged to the gun clubs in Vincennes and Oaktown. Dave loved golfing, fishing, playing pool, and trap shooting. Going to pawn shops looking for bargains was one of his favorite activities. Born July 22, 1942, in Linton, IN, he was the son of Herschell and Thelma (Hadley) Workman. His parents and a grandson, Zachary Smith, preceded him. Surviving is his wife, Phyllis (Waggoner) Workman; his daughters, Susan Smith and her husband, Bryant, and Jenny Bruner, and her husband, Shaun, all of Vincennes, IN; and his grandchildren, Nathan Smith and his wife, Casey, Vanessa Bunte and her husband, B.jaye, Blake Wyatt, Alexander, Molly, Jane, Jake, Connor, Andrew, George, Emma, Sarah, Abigail, Gage and Isabella Smith, and Liam and Mila Bruner. A private graveside service will be held, and a public celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.
