Debbie Swartzentruber

Debbie Jo Swartzentruber, 69, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away on November 6, 2022, after a long illness. Debbie was born on April 27th, 1953, in Bloomington, Indiana. Debbie graduated from Washington High School in 1971. She worked hard as a single mother, earning two degrees and finishing lastly at Missouri University Sinclair School of Nursing with a master's degree in Mental Health nursing. Debbie served her community as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from 2009-2017. In 1997, Debbie married longtime friend, Dale Swartzentruber, together they blended 5 adult children. Debbie was predeceased by her mother Sarilee, her son Randy, grandson Bryant and son-in-law Jack Hinkle. She is survived by her husband Dale, daughters Bobbie (Shannon) Frazier, Stacy Hinkle, Lori (Rob) Crews, son Byron (Julie) Swartzentruber thirteen grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and younger sister Mary Ellen Smith. And her special caregiver Cashayla Kemmis Services will be held at Providence Mennonite Church 4738 US 50, Montgomery, Indiana 47558 on November 11th. Receiving of friends and family will take place from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 6:00 pm. Family and friends may share their memories at www.goodwinsievers.com.
