Dee

Mary Dee (Carroll) Ryan went to her heavenly home on October 11, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

Dee was born on June 27, 1957, at Daviess County Hospital to John E. Carroll and Miriam A (Norton) Carroll. Dee graduated from North Daviess High School in 1975 and Indiana Business School, in Vincennes, IN. On February 12, 1977, she married the love of her life Edward Ryan. Dee worked at Washington National bank and its’ successors, MEC, and GPC. She was a member of Cornettsville Church, Southwest Indiana Walk to Emmaus and Daviess County Community Foundation.

Dee is survived by husband of 46 years, Ed Ryan, son, Josh Ryan, her mother, Miriam Carroll, sisters Janet (Dennie) Eaton, Becky (Terry) Eaton, Kim (Tom) Coors, and brother John (Carol) Carroll and numerous nieces and nephews. Dee is preceded in death by her father John E. Carroll.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Simon J Graber Community Complex, 9164 East 875 North, Odon, IN, between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Simon J Graber Complex. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dee’s name to one of the following: Daviess County 4-H Association (building fund), Daviess Community Hospital, Helping Hearts Hospice or Our Community Foundation.
