Dennis Booher

Dennis E. Booher, 79, of 1259 East County Road, 500 South, Carlisle, passed away at 11:56 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.He was born June 12, 1935 in Red Key Indiana to Glen and Helen (Hendershot) Booher.Dennis owned and operated Booher Trucking and Lake Paradise Campground. He was a lifetime member of the FOP, Sullivan County Shifters Car Club, and a lifetime member of the Ooida Trucking Association. Dennis enjoyed restoring old cars and trucks.Surviving is his wife, Billie (O'Brien) Booher; his children, Mary (Terry) Halter Todd of Oakland City, Dennis Eric Booher of Carlisle, Virginia Carter of Bicknell, David Glen Booher of Lawrenceville, Becky Page of Carlisle; a brother, Lee Booher of Bloomington; two sisters, Mary Anne Moreno of North Fort Myers, FL, and Patricia Booher of Palm Harbor, Fl, and four grandchildren, Tesha Todd Doerner, Jennifer Todd Johnson, Jonathan Booher, Katie Booher, and 5 great grandchildren.He was preceded by his parents, and a son, Jeff Halter.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Monday January 12, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
