Dennis Johnson

Dennis "Denny" K. Johnson, 63, of Vincennes, IN, passed away February 17, 2020, at his residence.Denny worked as an equipment operator at Essex Wire, and later at Scepter. He was a veteran of the US Navy, and had become a Soldier in the Salvation Army Church.Surviving is his wife, Susan (Hamilton) Johnson; his sons, Tim Smith and his wife, Daniella, of Vincennes, IN, and Dennis K. Smith and his wife, Alicia, of Washington, IN; his brothers, Robin Johnson of Florida, and Terry Williams; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Jaxon, Lucas, and Kinsley Smith.Also surviving are his step-children, Trinity Straw and her husband, Lee, of Princeton, IN, Justin Ash, and Syaira Beadles and her husband, David, of Francisco, IN, Danny Case and his wife, Gwen, of Carlisle, IN, Tabitha McCarter of Wadesville, IN, and Tennille Dreiman and her husband, George, of Bicknell, IN; and his step-grandchildren, Gauge and Gunner Case, Cora and Isiah Collins, Cameron and Jayda Messman, Bentley Leverett, Julissa Ash, Tristan Straw, Brandon, Tristen, and Devon Beadles, and Joshua and Cailyn Leaf.Denny was born January 8, 1957, to Harry Eugene and Bessie Normalee (Clark) Johnson. His parents; his brother, Rex Johnson; his sister, Sheila Cruz, preceded him.Friends may gather at Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, at 1:30.
