Derek Davis

Derek J. Davis, 22, passed away at 7:05 am on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, KY. Derek was born in Evansville, IN on February 26, 1998 the son of Karen M. Nolley and John W. Davis.Derek was of the catholic faith and had attended St. Peters Catholic Church in Montgomery. He was a graduate of Washington High School where he participated on the soccer team and was a member of the FFA. Derek also received a certificate in welding from Vincennes University and enjoyed hunting, four wheelers and being outdoors.Survivors include his mother and her companion, Karen M. Davis and Brad Clauss of Madisonville, KY; his father, John W. Davis and his wife Amy of Washington; brother, Dylan Davis of Washington; maternal grandmother, Patricia Nolley of Washington and paternal grandmother, Margaret Davis of Washington. Derek is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William J. Nolley, Sr., paternal grandfather, William R. Davis and his cousin, D.J. Nolley Kane.Friends may visit with Derek's family and friends from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN. with Yvonne Evans officiating.
