Diana Reel

Diana Reel, 74, passed away at 6:43 am on May 26, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Diana was born on June 15, 1947 in Knox County and she was the daughter of Delmer and Florence (Small) Westfall. She married David Reel on October 2, 1966 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2021. Diana worked as a clerk for Midwest Marketing, Essex Wire and Hurricane Ditcher. She also was a member of Indiana Presbyterian Church and played the organ there for many years. Survivors include her children, April Strange and her husband Bill of Washington, son, Fred Reel and his wife Angela of Oakland City, IN; her grandchildren, Jessi Brown, Dani Brown, James Brown and his wife Jourdyn, Emma Reel, CJ Godwin, Gretchen Reel, Bridget Reel; her great grandchildren, Emmalyn Brown, Sarah Thovson, Peyton Shoulders, Dawsyn Brown, Daxtyn Brown; and her sister, Rose Heath. Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Florence Westfall; her step father, Paul Goodwin; her son Specialist Jeffrey David Reel; her husband, David Reel, sister, Rita Hulen and her step sister, Phyllis Schmitt. Friends may visit with Diana's family from 4-8 pm EST on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Indiana Presbyterian Church, 2431 S. Lower Indiana Rd., Vincennes, IN. Diana's funeral service will be held at 11:00 am EST on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Indiana Presbyterian Church with Pastor Frank Harmon officiating, Diana will be laid to rest next to her husband David and son Jeffrey in Wildwood Cemetery.
