Diana Whitlow

Diana Whitlow, of Vincennes, died October 17, 2018. She was born December 5, 1938, in Vincennes, to Harry Eldridge and Geraldine (Jerry Killion) Eldridge. She is survived by her husband, Robert Whitlow, two sons, Frank Cherbousky of Orlando, FL, and Matthew Cherbousky of Orlando, FL, and a daughter, Cecilia Wibbenmeyer of San Marcos, TX. She is also survived by her brother, William Eldridge, of Dallas TX, and her "sister" Joy Etzel Scott of Vincennes.Diana held a B.A. and a M.A. from Indiana University. She held many jobs over the years and taught at IU Purdue in Fort Wayne, IN as well as Vincennes University in the Continuing Education Dept. She also worked for the Bridgeport Leader Newspaper in Bridgeport, IL. Diana retired from the Knox County Public Library in 2011. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Vincennes, and was a volunteer for Good Samaritan Hospice in Vincennes. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Good Samaritan Hospice or Ridgecrest Baptist Church.The funeral will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes on Saturday at 2:00, with Pastor Walker Hatton officiating. Friends and family may visit the evening of Friday the 19th from 4:00 - 8:00.
