Diane Parker

Diana L. (Cox) Parker, 71 passed away at 10:36 pm, March 31, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Diana was born on March 29, 1944 in Vincennes the daughter of Leland "Bud" and Evelyn "Tiny" (Hathcox) Cox. Diana married Bob Parker on October 6, 1961 and he survives.Diana retired from the Vincennes Community School Corporation in 1994 as a baker at Tecumseh Harrison Elementary School. She then baby sat her grandchildren. Diana enjoyed spending time at the family river campsite, fishing, mushroom hunting, spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs.Survivors include her husband, Bob Parker of Vincennes; son, Mitch Parker and his wife, Kendrea of Petersburg, son, Randy Parker and his wife, Andrea of Vincennes, daughter, Karen Alvis and her husband Steve of Vincennes; grandchildren, Katie Parker-Deckard, Cain Parker, Kelly Parker, Erin Parker; sister, Barbara Smith and her husband Paul of Vincennes and sister, Vickie Stephens and her husband Mark of Vincennes. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leland Cox.There will be private services held at a later date and Goodwin Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.
