Don Walker

Donald Lee "Don" Walker, 73, born on November 15, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Earl Lee and Anna Catherine (Sutton) Walker passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 73 at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Don spent his professional life working in maintenance at Vincennes University, where he took great pride in his job. He was a simple man who found joy in the little things in life. Don loved spending his free time fishing with Bonnie and attending services at First Church of God and Church on the Street. In his leisure time, he could be found solving puzzles or reading the newspaper.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Walker of Vincennes; his daughters, Rebecca Sue Walker of Vincennes, Pamela Kay Ramsey and her husband Brian Ramsey of Jasper; grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Kylie Renee Chapman and her husband Zachary Chapman; great granddaughter, Bryleigh Chapman; his sister Penny Dupire of Marco, IN as well as numerous other siblings. Don is preceded in death by his parents Earl Lee and Anna Catherine Walker.

Don's journey on this earth may have come to an end, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes on June 11, 2024, at 10:00 am. Prior to the service, a public viewing will take place on June 10, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Don will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
