Donald "Bosco" Siewers

Donald "Bosco" Siewers, 79, of Vincennes, passed away 6:29 a.m. Tuesday May 13, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born Dec. 24, 1934, in Knox County, IN, he was the son of Donald and Helen Ann (Recker) Siewers. He was preceded by his parents, and a sister, Rosemary Williams. Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Florence (Beltz) Siewers; a son, Daniel (Stephanie) Siewers of Vincennes; a brother-in-law, Norman Williams of Vincennes; grandsons, Jacob and Justin Siewers; and his nieces, Andrea Perrott and Renee Augsburger. Bosco was a retired farmer. He loved his grandsons and farming. A lifetime member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, he had served on the parish council, and the cemetery board. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. A St. Louis Cardinals fan, he also enjoyed IU basketball and NASCAR. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. David Fleck, on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
