Donald Wagoner

Donald M. Wagoner, 77, of Vincennes, passed away at 9:15 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at his residence.He was born August 27, 1942 in Knox County, Indiana to Lisker "Vaughn" and Anna (Devers) Wagoner.Donald retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad as a conductor after 33 years. He also drove a truck and mowed many yards. As a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, he took care of the church and school grounds from 1977 until just a few years ago. Don also enjoyed playing cards at the Knights of Columbus and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.Surviving are his children Daniel Wagoner of Vincennes, and Janice Buehner of Vincennes; his brothers and sister Fred Wagoner of Vincennes, Betty Ruth Dunlap Bridgeport, Junior Wagoner of Vincennes, and Raymond "Jade" Wagoner of San Antonio, Texas; along with a grandchild Max Buehner.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gertrude Wagoner in 2004; and brothers and sisters Ralph Wagoner, Dale Wagoner, Nelrose Mitchell, Charles Wagoner, Emil Wagoner, Marvin Wagoner, Martha Wagoner, Marilyn Wagoner, and Joan Bowman.Funeral services will be Noon Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with Rev. Nathan Rastl officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the service at the church.
