Donald Eugene Wildman, 84, of Washington, Indiana, passed away Thursday September 30, 2021, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana. He was born in Washington, Indiana, to the late Richard and Dorothy (Wonder) Wildman on November 5, 1936. He married the love of his life, Monette (Allison) Wildman on December 9, 1955, and they shared 65 years happily married. Together they had four daughters, Marla (Scott) Bennett, Myra Lawyer, Dorothy (Muhanned) Arab, and Donna (Timothy) Strickland. Don had 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Donald worked at McCord's in Washington, Indiana for twenty years. He was a farmer most of his life. In his younger years, he worked as a mason, plastering in houses. He worked at Daviess County Rural Water for 12 years and was a board member there for 18 years. Don was involved with 4-H for several years as a parent, grandparent, and past 4-H leader. He had also been a part of the Suffolk Sheep Association. Surviving Donald is his wife, Monette, daughters Marla (Scott) Bennett, Myra Lawyer, Dorothy (Muhanned) Arab, and Donna (Timothy) Strickland, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother John (Joyce) Wildman, and his sister Mary (the late Ronald) Taylor. Donald was preceded in death by his brother Doyle Wildman. Visitation for Don will be held on Wednesday October 6, 2021, at Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 2020 State St. in Washington, Indiana from 12:00 - 3:00pm. A funeral service will then begin at 3:00pm with Rev. Roy Ice officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made out to the Daviess County 4-H Association or The Bethel Cemetery.
