Donna Cozart

Donna Marie Harker Cozart, age 81, of Vincennes, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.She was born April 29, 1938 in Robinson, Illinois to Harold and Glenna (Alford) Neeley.Donna retired after 32 years as the Attendance Officer for the Vincennes Community School Corporation. She graduated Magma Cum Laude from St. Mary's of the Woods College and was a member of Thursday Church and a lifetime member of Sigma Tau Delta. Donna had a philanthropic spirit as she loved everyone and enjoyed helping the underdog. A spirit of serving and giving to others played a large part of her life and missions were very important to her. She loved to garden, landscape, painting, the arts, and music. She did volunteer work, taught Sunday School, enjoying visiting family and loved to travel.Surviving are her husband Gene Cozart, whom she married on October 9, 1996; her children, Jackie Harker of Fishers, Debbie Salters and her husband Mike of Vincennes, Troy Harker and his wife Jennifer of Mooresville; a step daughter, Tracy Cozart; nine grandchildren, Tim Salters, Levi Salters, Isaac Salters, Ashley Kinner, Haley Wendahl, Morgan Harker, Courtney Macdonald, Sam Harker, and Solomon Harker.She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Jack Harker; a son Timmy Harker; a brother, Jim Neeley; and a sister, Judith Clanton.Visitation will be Saturday September 21st, 2019 from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Gardner Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street with Rev. Jason Walsh and Rev. Andrea Clegg officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Thursday Church.
