Donna Roberson

Donna R. Roberson, 79, of Wheatland, IN, passed away on Feb. 26, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Donna had worked as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital for 38 years. She was a member of the Knox County Farm Bureau, INC, the Wheatland Lions Club, and the Wheatland United Methodist Church. She served as organist for the Wheatland Christian Church and then the Wheatland United Methodist Church.Born Jan. 5, 1936, in Freelandville, IN, she was the daughter of Raymond and Wilma (Pruesner) Miller. Her parents and a brother, Scott N. Miller, preceded her.Surviving is her husband, Alan Roberson, whom she married Aug. 8, 1958; her sons, James Roberson, and his wife, Millie, of Carlisle, IN, and Roger Roberson, and his wife, Lynn Ann, of Wheatland, IN; grandchildren, Jackie Roberson and her companion, Mike Racey, Alex Roberson, and his wife, Kyra, Kristina Roberson, and her fiance', Jeff Chandler, Marci Powell, Joe Roberson, and his wife, Jennifer, and Sarah Roberson; and her great-grandchildren, Parker, Jayden, and Brady Racey, Caylee Roberson, Ezekiel and Isaiah Howard, and Lily Arney.The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 10:30, at the Wheatland United Methodist Church. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 - 8:00 Monday, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN, or on Tuesday, at the church from 9:30 - 10:30. Interment will be in the Wheatland Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wheatland United Methodist Church.
