Donna Strahle

Donna Kay Strahle,71, of Washington, IN, passed away August 24, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN.Born April 20, 1948, in Washington, IN, she was the daughter of Charles and Ethel (Vantlin) Small. Her parents preceded her as well as her beloved aunt and uncle Geneva "Nena" and Fred "Butch" Like.In the early years of marriage, she loved to babysit other people's children. She treated them like her own. In her 24 years working at Walmart, she treated her customers well and made many friends. Whatever role she played, she did it well. Whether Mother, daughter, sister, Aunt, Wife, Grandmother, or friend she spoiled us all. She cherished being a mother and loved her children and was there for them always. She loved spending time with her beloved Joe and her cats.Surviving are her children, Holly Graber and her husband, Dennis, of Cannelburg, IN, Jim Strahle and his wife, Brook, of Vincennes, IN, and Tim Strahle of New Castle, IN; her fiance', Joe Nalback; her sisters, Beatrice Biddle of Seelyville, IN, Joy Witteried of Vincennes, IN, and Mary Kay Edgin of Vincennes, IN; her grandchildren, Karlee Strahle, Dylan Strahle, Chris Graber, Madison Graber, and Jackson Graber; a great-granddaughter, Amara Strahle and her mother, Kenzi Lunsford; and several nieces and nephews.Friends may visit with Donna's family from 1:00 - 4:00 on Sunday, at Goodwin - Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN. Her memorial service will begin at 4:00 Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.Donations may be made to Friends for Animals.
