Donna Sutton

Donna L. Sutton, 83, of Vincennes, IN passed away May 22, 2023. She was born in Vincennes, IN on November 4, 1939, to the late Elwood and Sarah (Blubaum) Murphy. She married Larry Gene Sutton on October 4,1959. Donna was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. In her earlier years, she and Larry enjoyed bowling, square dancing, and riding motorcycles. Donna also enjoyed playing euchre, planting flowers, watching westerns, riding her golf cart and jeep, spending time with her family, and listening to Elvis and Conway Twitty. She will be deeply missed. Donna was preceded in death by her parent; husband Larry Sutton; son Mark D. Sutton; sister Carolyn Anderson; brothers Clifford Murphy, Gene Murphy, Albert Murphy, Jack Murphy, and Ronald Murphy. She is survived by her children Cheryl (Stephen) Yochum, Tammy (Joseph) Ruppel, Annette (Jason) Holloway, Chad G. Sutton; grandchildren Andrea Goodman, Nathan (Marie) Frey, Resha Yochum, Ashley Ruppel, Tyler (Danielle) Ruppel, Caleb Jacobs, Corey Jacobs, Jakeb Holloway, Zack (Carly) Sutton, Abby Sutton, Joseph Linenburg; great-grandchildren Bennett Frey, Brynna Frey, Beau Frey, Shelby Goodman, Sawyer Goodman, Paisley Ruppel, Kama Jacobs, Lola Holloway, Kyra Jacobs, Liam Holloway; sisters Alina Hendrixson, Judy (Wendy) Perkins; sister-in-law Neme Murphy; and many nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mrs. Sutton. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 524 Broadway St. from 11-1:30p. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 1:30pm with burial at Memorial Park immediately following. Memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society of the Dayson Heart Center in Donna's honor.
