Donnetta Cardinal

Donnetta K. Cardinal, 83, of Monroe City, IN passed away April 27, 2022. She was born to the late Donald B. and Fern (Perry) Cardinal on August 29, 1938, in Monroe City. Donnetta graduated from Monroe City High School in 1956 and continued her education by obtaining an associate degree in nursing. She worked for Good Samaritan Hospital for 40+ years. Donnetta was a member of the Monroe City High School Alumni Association and a volunteer for the Blue Jean Center. She enjoyed reading and cooking for her family and friends. Donnetta was preceded in death by her parents and brother Larry Cardinal. She is survived by her children Pamella (David) Vories and Michael (Nancee) Scott; grandchildren Matthew (Jill Davis) Vories, Andrew (Gianna Benjamin) Vories, Calvin (Michele) Scott, Carrie (Clayton) Willis; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Pamela Cardinal. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Ms. Cardinal. Visitation will be May 7, 2022 at Wilson Creek Cemetery from 10:30-11am. Services will be held on May 7, 2022 at 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Wilson Creek Cemetery.
