Doris Fisher

Doris E. Fisher, 88, of Vincennes, passed away May 10, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Doris had worked in the housekeeping dept. at the Executive Inn, and had also worked at Mr. Gatti's Pizza. She attended the First Baptist Church in Bicknell, IN. Born June 30, 1925, in Grayville, IL, she was the daughter of Harry and Muriel (Wise) Moore, Sr. They preceded her, as well as six brothers; two sisters; and a daughter-in-law, Marlene Fisher. Surviving are her children, Marvin Fisher of Princeton, IN, and Calvin (Diana) Fisher of Bicknell, IN; a brother, Don (Wanda) Moore of New Whiteland, IN; a sister, Janet Marlow of Olney, IL; grandchildren, Katie Boberg and Jenny (Josh) Anthis; and her great-grandchildren, Harley Keller, Trey Keller, Rylee Stoltz, Lily Anthis, and Austin Anthis. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, from 5:00 - 8:00 EDT, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Seth Alexander on Thursday, at 2:00 EDT, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, IL.
