Doris Glaubensklee

Doris J. Glaubensklee, 88, passed away at 8:55 am on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Doris was born on September 20, 1926 in Knox County, the daughter of Franklin and Helen (Cantwell) Smith. She married Robert Glaubensklee on June 8, 1947 and he survives.Doris had worked at Montgomery Ward, the Knox County Clerk's office and retired from Hoosier Gas. She enjoyed getting together with Hoosier Gas retiree's. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting.Survivors include her husband, Robert Glaubensklee of Vincennes, sister-in-law's, Mary Lou Ducharme of Vincennes, Vera Smith of Manchester, Iowa, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Jack and Rosie Staley her neighbor's of Vincennes. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, son, Steven E. Glaubensklee, brothers, Robert O. Smith, Gaylord Smith, Frank Smith, Forrest H. Smith and sister, Kate VonBehren.Funeral services for Doris will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Doris' family from noon until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Wednesday.
