Doris Hastings

Doris C. Hastings, 83, passed away at 6:37 p.m. on December 24, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Doris was born on August 5, 1928 in Vincennes the daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Johnson) Thompson. She married Vernon Hastings on November 4, 1956 and he preceded her in death on April 26.Doris was a homemaker.Survivors include her brother, Carl Thompson, of Anderson, IN.; sister in laws, Margaret Moyer and her husband, Milton of Indianapolis, IN, Virginia Pollert and her husband, Roland of Franklin, IN, Caroline Gaither and her husband Fred of Sandborn, IN and several nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Daniel Thompson and brother in law, James Hastings.There will be no funeral services held and burial will take place in Sandborn Cemetery.
