Doris Newman

Doris Newman, 84, of Noblesville, IN, found peace with her Lord on June 7, 2024.

She was born on February 8, 1940, to Hugo & Luella (Wehmeier) Due.

Doris married Billy Newman on December 31, 1984.

She was a member of the Salem UCC in Westphalia, IN.

Her chosen career was teaching High School Business Law which she taught for many years, mostly in the Indianapolis area.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy, and a brother, David Due.

Surviving are 4 step-daughters, Cindy (John) Schutz, Tyla Thomas, Retta White, and Diane (Todd) Lewis, 5 step-grandchildren, sisters Darlene Meeks and Carole Vandeventer, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit from 12:00-1:00pm on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Salem United Church of Christ 13135 North Salem Rd., Westphalia, IN 47596. A funeral service will follow immediately at 1:00pm with Pastor Jesse Letourneau officiating. Interment will take place in the Salem Cemetery following the service.
