Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Colvin, 78, of Washington, passed away at 7:25 pm Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at The Villages at Oak Ridge.She was born May 20, 1941 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Joseph and Anna (Padgett) Kane.Dottie was a devoted catholic and belonged to the St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery. Dottie worked as a beautician for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Kathy Gehlhausen of Montgomery; her sister -in-law, Fran Kane of Kentucky; her granddaughter, Anna Sizemore of Montgomery; her good friend, Diana Jones of Washington, several nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Colvin; two sons, Joe and John Sizemore; and two brothers, Frank (Alice) Kane and Don Kane.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 26, 2019 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Father Sudhakar and Father Lowell Will officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be from 2-6 pm Sunday at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street in Washington.
