Dorothy Banks

Dorothy M. Banks, 83, of the New Willow Manor, Vincennes, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born December 19, 1928 in Hawsville, Kentucky to Pete & Ethel Sue (Estridge) Leslie.Dorothy was a member of the Baptist church and a caregiver. She was loved by all her family whom she enjoyed immensely.Surviving are her children, William (Sharon) Farrar of Owensboro, Ky, Bob Farrar of Vincennes, Bonnie (Donald) Walker of Vincennes, Bruce (Beverly) Farrar of Vincennes, Barbara McGregor of Vincennes, Ben & Carolyn Farrar of Smyrna, TN, Brett & Susie Farrar of Murfreesboro, TN and Bart Farrar of Vincennes. Also surviving is a sister Gertie Kincaid of Vincennes, along with 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents, her husband, Wayne Banks, and a daughter and son in law, Brenda and Kenny Wesley.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
