Dorothy Anne (Guller) Kelley of Owensville, passed away on her 88th birthday on March 23, 2019 at 4:24AM. She was born at home in Gibson County on March 23, 1931 to the late Alma Compton and Jewel (Tootie) Guller, she graduated from Griffin High School in 1949. Dorothy was a working woman and loved all of her jobs. She worked in the Owensville Cafe and Doc's Place for 24 years and was the custodian of the Owensville Community Center. She is well remembered and loved for driving bus number 8 for South Gibson School Corporation for 45 years. She was also the Chairman of Owensville Watermelon Festival for 8 years. She finished out the last 19 years of her working career at the Walmart in Princeton, IN. Dorothy was also a member of Maumee General Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Alma Compton and Jewel (Tootie) Guller; step-father Charles Compton; brother Bobby Gene Compton and sister, Betty Fern Westheiderman. She is survived by her two children Gary (Kathy) Kelley of Leander, Texas, and daughter Rhonda (Walt) Wells of Owensville, IN; 3 grandchildren, Zachary (Trevi) Kelley of Cedar Park, Texas, Korey Martin of Owensville, IN, and Kelley (Casey) Tenbarge of Evansville; 2 great-grandsons, Dylan Bartlein and Tyler Martin; brother, Nicholas Guller, and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Kelley. Visitation will be held Friday March 29, 2019 at Holders Funeral Home from 4p-8p and Saturday from 9a-11a. Funeral will be Saturday at 11a with Pastor Kevin Miley officiating with interment at Owensville Cemetery.
