Dorothy Langford

Dorothy "Dottie" Langford, 88, of Vincennes, passed away Feb. 27, 2014. Dottie was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Pi Sorority, and the Vincennes Rose Society. She enjoyed playing bridge, cats, and travelling. Dorothy graduated from Orleans High School. Born March 22, 1925, in Orleans, IN, she was the daughter of Lester and Fannie (Sears) Trinkle. Her parents; her husband, Victor K. Langford; a sister, Jenny Rose Jones; and a great-grandchild, Karson Langford, preceded her. Surviving are her children, Carol (Virgil) Coon of Blue Springs, MO, Mark (Arlene) Langford of Odon, IN, and Debbie (Simon)Corcoran of Louisville, KY; sisters, Marjorie Moore and Helen Baker, both of Bedford, IN; grandchildren, Jill (Jim) Raines, Jeanna (Ross) Eickbush, Jason (Brooke) Langford, Jamie (finace' Devon Cantrell) Orman, Jodi (J.D.) Barton, Joshua (Nichole) Langford, Jordan Langford, Dylan Corcoran, Bryony Corcoran, Sophie Corcoran, Gabe (Michelle) Coon, and Octavia (Toby) von der Heyde ; and several great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 4:00 - 8:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Monday, at 2:30, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
