Dorothy Perry

Dorothy O. Perry, 96, of Vincennes, IN, passed away October 5, 2019, at BridgePointe Health Campus.Dorothy had worked at the Clark Middle School Cafeteria. She later worked at JayC grocery, where she provided food demonstrations. Being around people gave her great satisfaction. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a member of the Free Methodist Church.Surviving is her son, Joe Perry and his wife, Sandy, of Vincennes, IN; her grandchildren, JoLynn Bahr and her husband, Steve, of Plainfield, IN, and Craig Perry of Vincennes, IN; and her great - grandchildren, Rachel Bahr of Plainfield, IN, and Chase Perry of Vincennes, IN.Preceding her were her parents, George and Hattie (Williams) Kirk, Sr.; her husband, Cleo Perry whom she married July 27, 1940, and who passed away December 1988; her sisters, Antoinette Kirk and Evelyn Kirk; and her brothers, Clarence Kirk, Scott Kirk, Raymond Kirk who was killed during WWII, Harold Kirk, and George Kirk, Jr.Dorothy's family would to thank the staff at Colonial Assisted Living, BridgePointe Health Campus, and Heart to Heart Hospice, for the wonderful care given to Dorothy.Private family services will be held.
