Douglas Deyoe

Doug B. Deyoe, 77, of Decker, IN, passed away December 2, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Doug retired from the US Air Force, after 21 years of service. He was with the 89th Air Lift Wing, working as a mechanic. Doug worked on Air Force One, and was a Master Sergeant. After retirement, he went to work at the Post Office, working in the Evansville area, before retiring from the Post Office after 21 years. Some of his interests included scuba diving, flying radio control planes and golfing.Surviving is his wife, Deloris "Dee" (Beamon) Deyoe, who he married June 27, 1964; his sons, John Deyoe and his companion, Kathryn Griffith of Decker, IN, and Jeffrey Deyoe and his wife, Kimberly, of Spring Hill, TN; his sister, Cynthia Kasper and her husband, Jerry, of Sandusky, OH; and his brother, Joseph Deyoe, of Sandusky, OH.Doug was born March 6, 1942, in Sandusky, OH, the son of Clifton and Genevive (Jamie) Deyoe. His parents preceded him.Friends may visit with his family from 11:00 - 1:00 on Thursday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 1:00 at the funeral home.
