Earnest Schatz

Earnest L. Schatz, 58, of 501 Hart Street, Apartment 416 passed away at 8:58 a.m. on June 5, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Earnest was born on September 5, 1952 in Washington, Indiana the son of Earnest R. and Mary (Blaize) Schatz. Earnest worked for several years at Roadmaster in Olney, IL. Survivors include his mother, Mary Schatz of Vincennes; Daughter, Kari Jo Schatz of Athens, TN; sisters, Ruby J. White of Decker, IN; Georgia A. Wesley of Vincennes; brother, William Fred Schatz of Decker, IN; 2 grandsons and companion Mary Esther Davis of Vincennes. Earnest was preceded in death by his father, Earnest R. Schatz and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m .on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Burial will follow in Decker Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
