Edna Anderson

Marie Anderson, 84, 1316 Mentor, Vincennes, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born August 20, 1927, in Crawford County, IL, she was the daughter of Luther and Nellie (Myer) Gaddis. She married Donald Anderson on July 29, 1950 and he survives.Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano and baking any kind of cookies and desserts. She also liked to go to flea markets and yard sales. She loved her family.Survivors include her husband, Donald, of Vincennes; sons, Steve Anderson and his wife, Penny, of Jasper and Mike Anderson and his wife, Gayle, of Vincennes; grandchildren, Aaron Anderson, Katie Anderson, Ryan Anderson and his wife, Sam, Courtney Anderson and his wife, Deanna and Kristin Cullivan and her husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Bianca Anderson, Layne Anderson and Evelyn Anderson; brother, Charles Gaddis of Robinson, IL; sister-in-law, Marcia Gaddis of Flat Rock, IL, and several nieces and nephews.Preceding Marie in death were her parents; brother, Roscoe Gaddis and sister-in-law, Phyllis Gaddis.Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
