Edward "Ed" Baldridge

Edward W. Baldridge, 78, of Vincennes, IN passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital with his sister, niece, and nephew by his side.

Ed was born November 7, 1946 in Vincennes, IN and is the son of James H. and Eileen Baldridge.

Ed graduated from Lincoln High School in the class of 1964. He then joined the United States Air Force for 4 years. After the airforce he worked in various countries such as The Marshall Islands as a mail clerk and in Tehran, Iran as a supply clerk. He had a love for traveling. Ed was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Surviving Ed are his siblings, Jim (Jan) Baldridge, Janice Tromley, Patricia (Rick) Miller, all of Vincennes, Suzanne Wall of Lancaster, CA, and Bill (Kathy) Baldridge of Oregon; sister in law, Babette Akins of Washington, IL; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, James and Eileen Baldridge; brother, Bob Baldridge; and brother in law, George Tromley.

Visitation for Ed will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. Pastor Ron Maxwell will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Edward.
