Edward Henry

Edward "Ed" E. Henry, 84, of Vincennes, IN, passed away November 6, 2018, at his home.Ed had worked as a machinist at E.W. Mold and Tool in Indianapolis, IN. After retiring, he owned 2 pizza places and delivered all over the Indianapolis area. He was a member of the Turning Point Foursquare Church. Ed was generous man and loved his family.Born May 27, 1934, in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of Burton and Catherine (McCardel) Henry. His parents; a sister, Marie Strittlemeier; and a great-grandson, Kaleb McClure preceded him.Surviving are his daughters, Catherine Schlomer of Vincennes, IN, Myla Harrison of Fortville, IN, and Crystal Henry of Bloomington, IN; along with the many people who called him "dad", whose lives he impacted; his brother, Burton "Sonny" Henry of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Brandon Staker, Carey Hanson, Hayley O'Reilly, Douglas Harrison, Jr., Rachelle Froeschke, Nicole Benson, and Jessica Hallman; and 19 great-grandchildren.Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 - 3:00 on Saturday, at Goodwin Funeral Home.
