Edward Jackson

Edward J.R. Jackson, 68, of 11583 N. Bob Wolfe Road, Oaktown, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Saturday July 5, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born March 21, 1946 in Vincennes to Maurice and Betty (Steckler) Jackson.Edward was a farmer and drove a school bus for the North Knox School Corporation.A member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, he was an incredible husband, dad, and papa. Edward enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, tinkering in the barn, the outdoors, and loved horses.Surviving is his wife, Glenna (Durall) Jackson, whom he married May 29, 1965; his daughters, Audra Jackson of Vincennes, Tonya (Brian) Trapp of Boulder, Colorado, and Nicole (Josh) Robinson of Bicknell; two sisters, Barbara Jackson and Vicki Williams both of Vincennes; and his grandchildren, Blake Abril, Haley Frey, Madeline Trapp, Story Eve Trapp, Mckenze Anson, Chandler McGregor, and Payton McGregor.Private family graveside will be held in Mt.
