Edward Lee Ross, 78, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on January 1, 2024, at Eastgate Manor in Washington.
He was born on May 31, 1945, to the late William and Rita Ross in Washington, IN.
Ed was a 1953 graduate of Washington High School. Following high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
In his spare time, Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and word search puzzles.
Survivors include his daughter, Tricia Ross (Ed) Albrecht; his grandchildren, Allan Albrecht, and Marie Elrod; his great-grandchildren, Brynlee Albrecht & Bryker Albrecht, Remi Elrod; his siblings Bill Ross, Linda K. Geiger (Fred), Mike Ross (Lori), and Tony Ross (Carol); many nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ross; his parents, William and Rita Ross; his sister, Caroline (Ross) Grove; and his brother, Terry Ross.
Per his wished, Edward will be cremated. Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Washington; and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
