Eileen Reitmeyer

Eileen (LaVaughn) Reitmeyer, 80, passed away at 5:55 am on April 2, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. LaVaughn was born on April 16, 1933 the daughter of Ada and Luna (McCammon) Carrie. She married Maurice Reitmeyer on October 11, 1958 and he survives.LaVaughn was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed watching her grandson Nickolas participate in sports.Survivors include her husband, Maurice Reitmeyer of Vincennes; daughter, Tina Meeks and her husband Stacy of Vincennes; grandson, Nickolas Meeks and his girlfriend Catlin Yochum and several nieces and nephews. LaVaughn was preceded in death by seven sisters, Estelle Wittenmeyer, Vernice Beadle, Eva Johnson, Evelyn Sutton, Doris McCord, Donna Heuby, Maxine Deeley, and two brothers, Chester and Edward Carrie.Funeral services for LaVaughn will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with the Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
