Eldon E. Parker, 98, of Vincennes, IN, passed away November 24, 2019, at his home.Eldon was the owner of Parker Auto Parts. He was a member of Vincennes Masonic Lodge #1, where he had received his seventy-five pin. Other memberships included the VFW, Eagles, 40et8, and the Harmony Society. During WWII, he served in the Army in the European Theater and received the Bronze Star Medal.Surviving are his sons, Steve Parker and his wife, Shari, of Vincennes, IN, and Kenny Parker and his wife, Karen, of Vincennes, IN; his companion and caregiver, Barbara Toliver of Olney, IL; his grandchildren, Kaley Johanningsmeier and her husband, Grant, of Haubstadt, IN, Laura Parker of Vincennes, IN, and Jared Parker of Vincennes, IN; a step-grandson, Brant Schaefer and his wife, Sarah; his great-grandchildren, Lillian, Eddyn and Charleee Johanningsmeier; and a step-great-grandchild, Nicholai Schaefer.Born November 14, 1921, in Monroe City, IN, he was the son of Corbett and Leona Belle (Cooper) Parker. His parents; his wife, Louise D. (Benjamin) Parker; and his brothers and sisters preceded him.A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, at 2:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
